Vonchons / Vanessa Chan is a budding illustrator, content creator, and long-time lover of words. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and was part of the Creative Arts Programme in 2012 for English Poetry. She finds meaning in working on projects that center community-building, craft enriching experiences for people, and find new ways to look at the world around us. Her linguistics and literary background heavily informs the way she communicates ideas and connect with people from all walks of life through various platforms.

Through her character-centric illustrations, she explores different human experiences in life, work, love, and friendships. She has also worked on a variety of graphic design projects such as event posters, brand collaterals, programme booklets, and more. Clients she has worked with include The Chorallective, FlagWhite Cafe, and StreamLah!SG.
